Private Charter

Ahmic Air's charter assignments take us throughout Canada's northern territories.  We have extensive knowledge of the remote lakes and river locations accessible from our base locations. During the warmer months when we have open water, we operate our aircraft on floats.  During the colder months when ice conditions and temperatures permit we operate our aircraft on skis.  Typically float season in Yellowknife is from the end of May through to the middle of October and Ski Season in Yellowknife is from the middle of February through to the end of April.  Each season is different so if you need us during a shoulder season call and we will let you know our availability.

Some of our clients include mining & exploration companies, fishing lodges, canoe & kayak groups, filming crews, scientific research groups, government departments, pleasure boaters, and private cabin owners. Ahmic Air holds an Air Operator's Certificate issued by Transport Canada for 702 Aerial Work & 703 Day VFR Air Taxi services along with a Domestic Licence issued by the Canada Transportation Agency.  In addition to our primarily aircraft, the DHC-2 De Havilland Canada Beaver we also own an operate a smaller C-185 Cessna aircraft which is ideal for hot shot trips and smaller loads.

Please contact us with any of your aircraft needs and we would be happy to provide you with a quote for our services.
